1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at appliencedoc.com (the "Site") or using the appliance repair services provided by Appliance Doctor ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Site or services.
2. Services
Appliance Doctor provides appliance repair services for residential customers in Central Florida. Our services include repair of refrigerators, ovens and ranges, washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers. Services are subject to availability and scheduling.
We reserve the right to decline service if we determine that a repair is unsafe, impractical, or outside the scope of our expertise. In such cases, we will advise you accordingly.
3. Pricing and Payment
We offer three service tiers:
- Basic ($99): Diagnostics and 1-month warranty on parts and labor
- Standard ($199): Diagnostics, 3-month warranty, and one follow-up visit
- Premium ($299): Diagnostics, 6-month warranty, and priority scheduling
These prices cover the diagnostic and service fee. Replacement parts, if needed, are charged separately at cost plus a reasonable markup. The total cost, including parts, will be communicated to you before any repair work begins.
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. The diagnostic fee is waived if you proceed with the repair at the time of service.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation
Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website contact form. We will confirm your appointment and provide a service window.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 4 hours before your scheduled appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
5. Warranty
All repairs performed by Appliance Doctor include a warranty on both parts and labor. The warranty duration depends on your selected plan:
- Basic: 1-month warranty
- Standard: 3-month warranty
- Premium: 6-month warranty
The warranty covers:
- The specific repair performed and parts installed during the service visit
- Defective replacement parts (manufacturer defects)
- Workmanship issues related to the original repair
The warranty does not cover:
- New or unrelated problems that arise after the repair
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, power surges, or acts of nature
- Repairs performed by other service providers after our visit
- Cosmetic damage unrelated to the repair

6. Limitation of Liability
Appliance Doctor's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific repair in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, water damage, lost income, or inconvenience, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the appliance and the issue
- Ensure safe access to the appliance for our technician
- Be present (or have an authorized adult present) during the service visit
- Disclose any known hazards (gas leaks, water damage, electrical issues)
- Pay for services rendered in a timely manner
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Appliance Doctor or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our written permission.
9. Website Use
When using our Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site without permission
- Submit false or misleading information through our contact forms
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appliance Doctor, its owner, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of our Site or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.
